London band Vuvuvultures has a rather unique ability of marrying up everything that makes for an amazing song: strong and distinctive vocals alongside melodies and guitar riffs that stay in your head for months. Plus, they’ve got this weird suitcase full of gizmos and gadgetry, which add that little extra something into the mix. The added bonus with Vuvuvultures is that they are completely brilliant live. Compelling, charismatic and maybe a little bit terrifying, too.

Formed in 2011, Vuvuvultures are moody and abrasive. Their music is the charmed result of a deeply mischievous surgery. The songs are craftily welded together fusing the best parts of each member's musical biology into nimble - if unpredictable - purpose built machines.

In 2012 they released their debut EP and toured the UK and Europe. They featured in Vogue, Wonderland and a whole host of tastemaker fashion and music blogs and also supported Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster at their sold out Halloween show at Electric Ballroom in Camden. After focussing on their recording for the last few months, the band has just returned from a tour of Brazil. Their debut album Push / Pull will be released in July 2013.

The band - Harmony Boucher on lead vocals, Nicole Bettencourt Coelho on bass, Paul Ressel on guitars and Matt Christensen on drums.
